SCHOOLS
A number of educational facilities are available to residents in the Town of Sheridan
These range from a local elementary school to three universities within commuting distance.
The township is primarily served by the Boyceville and Prairie Farm School Districts.
The School district boundary zig-zags through the township.
Sheridan Township is part of the Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC). CVTC has a campus in Menomonie.
They offer several associate degrees and technical diploma programs.
A variety of other programs are available on the main campus in Eau Claire or on one of the other satellite campuses of the District.
Other higher education degree programs are available from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie,
the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. All are within commuting distance.

Boyceville and Menomonie Libraries are members of the Indianhead Federated Library System (IFLS)

A sub-set of these libraries is the MORE system. Member libraries share books.
You can checkout a book at one (Eau Claire for example) and return it at any other member library (Menomonie for example).
From the convience of your web browser you can search the MORE on-line catalog of all the MORE libraries (Boyceville is one).
Library Cards are free. With a library card you can select material (book, music, DVD...) from any of the libraries and have it sent to Boyceville for you to pick up a day or so later.
Don't have a library card? Really!? Well drop by the Boyceville library as soon as possible.
