Notice is hereby given that on Monday, November 13, 2006 at 7:00 pm; a public hearing on the proposed 2007 budget of the Town of Sheridan will be held at the Sheridan town hall. The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the Clerk’s office or at www.sheridantownship.org.
Notice is hereby given that on Monday, November 13, 2006 immediately following completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed budget, a special town meeting of the electors called pursuant to Sec. 60.12(1) ( c ) of Wisconsin Statutes by the Town Board for the following purposes will be held: 1.) to approve the total 2007 highway expenditures pursuant to Sec. 81.01(3) of Wisconsin Statutes; 2.) to adopt the 2006 town tax levy to be paid in 2007 pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1) ( a ) of Wisconsin Statutes; 3.) to authorize the Town Board to hire town officers as employees of the Town and set an hourly wage pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1) (g ) of Wisconsin Statutes.
The regular monthly board meeting of the Sheridan Town Board will be held on Monday, November 13, 2006 immediately following the Special Town Meeting.
