 | Sheridan Picnic
at Town Hall
|
 | We had a larger
turnout this year. We welcomed several new neighbors and met others for
the first time.
|
 | There were
several youths attending.
|
 | Good food was
shared. The town hall was nicely decorated, with hay, corn stalks and
colorful pumpkins and squash. I apologize for missing a photo from
outside. When I realized my mistake at 2:30 and went back the
decorations were gone already. The picnic is only a couple of
hours so be sure to attend next time.

Ballots have changed
|
 | Now we just complete the arrow to the candidate of
our choice.
|
 | The ballot is scanned by a new scanner.
|
 | Just insert the card in the scanner. The counter
increments once. The paper ballot is protected inside to allow a paper
trail - manual recount.
|
 | We also have the option of using a computer to vote.
|
 | Although the computer screen looks helpful, our
poll workers are much more helpful than the computer..

Everyone enjoying food and talking with their neighbors,

Nicole didn't let the yellow jacket on the ketchup bottle win.
Drill down on the larger image and you can see the yellow jacket on the
bottle, and some good food.
